TIPS for RSVP Success! TIP #1 That is why our call back service is so helpful. It can save you hundreds of dollars in meal planning. R.S.V.P. is an acronym for the French term respondez s'il vous plait, or in English "Respond if you Please" or simply Please Respond. The proper etiquette or protocol for an RSVP is to respond to the invitation by letting your host/hostess know if you will be attending the event. RSVP does not mean "respond if you plan to attend", however many people fail to understand which makes it difficult when planning a wedding. At Best Wedding RSVP, we work with you to make sure that a response has been received from each potential guest. With our premium services, we will call those guest that have not responded for you to make sure your guest count is accurate for the caterer. TIP #2 Perhaps the best way to eliminate the misunderstanding of what is expected from an RSVP is to change the wording. Instead of using RSVP on your invitations, whether you use our service or not, including the words "The favor of a reply is requested" will politely let your invited guests know that they should respond. If you are using our service we have found that this language on your RSVP card or invitation gets the best response: "The favour of a reply is requested on or before ____ by calling Best Wedding R.S.V.P. toll free at 866.622.7787 ext. ____" TIP #3 Contact us toll free at 888.837.6215 for your Wedding RSVP solution! |
